An 11-week proof of concept (POC) saw Bio-Fence antimicrobial coatings applied to the floor and lower part of walls of a hot dog peeling room in a major sausage manufacturing facility in Israel.
U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced last week that Tyson Foods Inc., a Dexter, Mo., establishment, recalled approximately 8,955,296 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.
InSite Listeria test is certified as an AOAC RI Performance Tested Method (certification number 061802)—which verifies that the test detects low levels of Listeria species on stainless steel, ceramic and plastic surfaces—and can more specifically detect presumed positive Listeria, excluding more non-Listeria species.
