In addition to creating jobs, both plants support the region’s agricultural economy by processing more than 800 million lbs. of raw milk from 236 local dairy farmers annually.
Tanner currently serves as president and chief executive officer of The Wendy’s Company, where he has led a strategy focused on core brand growth, innovation, operational excellence and accelerating new unit growth globally.
The company will consolidate operations and add manufacturing at a 90,000-sq.-ft. building that is under construction in Pennsylvania’s Lower Nazareth and Bethlehem townships, which is expected to be open next year.
