Having localized production operations on 37 acres south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro will ensure fresher baked goods, faster distribution and the ability to meet growing demand in North America.
The company has already invested $240 million in a Nature’s Bakery facility in Utah, as well as $450 million in a Royal Canin dry pet food facility in Ohio.
This acquisition strengthens Valeo Foods Group’s position in the packaged wafers, cakes and biscuits category, complementing its Balconi business in southern Europe and international markets.
