Now known as Midera Food Processing, the spinoff company provides food processing equipment and automation solutions for industrial protein, bakery and snack producers, delivering total line solutions from preparation and thermal processing through packaging.
The Deighton acquisition includes production capabilities in the protein, fish, dairy and bakery sectors for a range of food processing customers, with strong geographic coverage across the UK and Europe, and growth markets in Latin America, India and Southeast Asia.
The project, in collaboration with ESI Group, includes the design and construction of a 63,500-sq.-ft. freezer, cooler and dock addition designed to support Frick’s continued operational growth and distribution capabilities.
