Walkers is a producer of premium pork products, with a heritage dating back to 1824. The business operates from four production facilities on a single site in Leicester, UK and employs approximately 1,150 team members.
The investment will help Anheuser-Busch meet growing consumer demand for Michelob ULTRA and Cutwater, two fast-growing brands, and expand local manufacturing skills training.
The acquisition will allow Revolution Foods to add innovative offerings to the more than 35 million meals served in school cafeterias, senior nutrition programs and on retail shelves each year.
The company says it will switch to colors derived from natural sources, including fruit and vegetable juices, as well as other plant-based ingredients.
