More than half of US dairy producers enroll in margin protection program

Over 23,000 of the nation’s dairy operations, more than half of all dairy farms in the US, have enrolled in a new safety-net program created by the 2014 Farm Bill known as the Margin Protection Program, according to USDA.

California firm recalls beef, pork products

California-based Unibright Foods Inc. has issued a recall of approximately 48,139 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat sukiyaki beef and gingered pork products that may be contaminated with metal extraneous materials, according to USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Dunkin’ Donuts plans expansion in China; adds 1,400 restaurants
