EIC Alyse Thompson-Richards recaps some recent plant openings and expansions in the food and beverage industry, including The Campbell’ Company’s aseptic processing facility, Grillo’s Pickles production plant, Bongards Creameries’ Minnesota plant expansion, Bertagni 1882’s Missouri facility, Milo’s Tea Company’s distribution center and Asahi Beer USA’s Wisconsin facility expansion.
The Campbell’s Company Expands North Carolina Facility for Aseptic Processing
The project added new aseptic processing lines, as well as an additional 28,000 sq. ft. of utility mezzanine space, to increase capacity, improve product consistency and support future growth while integrating with established operations.
Grillo’s Pickles Opens Production Facility in Indiana
The $54 million facility will ultimately create 150 new jobs in Bartholomew County, Indiana.
Bongards Creameries Plans $135M Expansion to Minnesota Plant
Construction is scheduled to begin during the fourth quarter of 2026, with commercial operations expected to commence by early 2028.
Filled Pasta Maker Bertagni 1882 to Open $36.4M Plant in Missouri
The company says the investment in St. Charles provides access to a skilled workforce, a robust multimodal transportation infrastructure and a collaborative business environment that will support long-term growth throughout North America.
